Individual Adult Psychotherapy

If you are feeling stressed, self-critical, impatient, down, or worried, I would like to help you feel more confident, calm, in control, and engaged in your life.  My approach to therapy is to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore and overcome obstacles in order to grow, heal, and reach their full potential.

With patience and understanding, I'll assist you in finding solutions and building strength and resiliency.  I believe therapy is a collaborative process and together we will set meaningful goals based on what you want to change or improve about yourself, your life, or your relationships.

Evidence-Based Therapies Are Offered:

Cognitive Based Therapy (CBT) - Cognitive-behavioral therapy stresses the role of thinking in how we feel and what we do. It is based on the belief that thoughts, rather than people or events, cause our negative feelings. The therapy assists in identifying, testing the reality of, and correcting dysfunctional beliefs underlying thinking patterns. CBT is a structured collaboration between therapist and client and often calls for homework assignments. CBT has been clinically proven to help clients in a relatively short amount of time with a wide range of disorders, including depression and anxiety.
